Technical foundations since 1968: continuous sulfonation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The plant\u2019s modern history<\/a> began in 1968, when the first continuous sulfonation line using gaseous SO\u2083 was built in Velv\u011bty. This sophisticated technology enables precise and cost-effective production of anionic surfactants\u2014key raw materials for cosmetics as well as cleaning and washing products. Roughly a year later, production of polynaphthalene sulfonates for construction chemicals followed.<\/p>\n
